Returns Policy / Exchange Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL because they are specially ordered for you, our customer. As a specialty boutique we do not issue refunds, do not accept returns, exchanges (see below for exceptions), and/or cancellations.
Your purchase (a dress and/or any other item) is made by a manufacturer; it is specially ordered and or custom made. Since your purchases are specially ordered in the style, size and color of your choice, we cannot return it to the manufacturer. We will accept your return or exchange if we sent you the wrong item, (right item will be mailed immediately), your order is shipped to the wrong address, or when we are unable to redeliver your dress in time for your event. However, you must notify us within 3 business days of receiving your purchase. We will issue a return authorization number that will allow you to return to us, at your expense, the purchased item in its original package and in its original condition within 7 business days. Exchanges are subject to item availability. When we receive your package, we will inspect your item, check the style, color, measure for size accuracy, etc. Returned items must not have been worn, washed, or altered; they must have all original tags attached to them and must be in their original packaging. Items with snags, rips, make-up stains, odors (i.e. cigarette smoke) or any other damages will be returned to you. In certain circumstances, we may choose to approve a return or exchange on an item that is not flawed. Such circumstances must be approved by management via telephone. All unauthorized returns without a written RMA# ( must be provided via email from Blush Kids ) on the outer package, will be refused! Blush Kids will not be held responsible for any unauthorized return of merchandise and will not credit customer under any circumstances for this. When you shop with Blush Kids using your credit card or PayPal, your account will be charged automatically in order to obtain approval. Orders are processed as soon as we receive the approval from your credit card company. Once the process is initiated we consider the order complete. However, if for some reason you wish to cancel your order after receiving confirmation from us, you will be charged 15% of the cost of your total purchase which covers credit card processing fees and other charges we incur. In order to avoid being charged the 15% fee, please make sure that you are ready to order and are 100% decided on the item upon submitting your order. Doing this will save you time and money as we do not waive these hard costs.
Please note upon shipping we carefully inspect each item that is shipped from our store, to make sure that it is the correct style, size, and color that you ordered, with no damage or defect. Hence, we strongly suggest that the recipients of any packages received should check their merchandise and call us immediately to report any damages or issues with their order.
Damaged In Transit:
If merchandise arrives damaged please REFUSE it back to the carrier making the delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record so that Blush Kids can file a damage claim. Save the merchandise AND the original box with the packing material it arrived in, and immediately notify Blush Kids to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify Blush Kids of any damaged goods within the first 3 days of delivery, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current manufacturer restrictions. Call Blush Kids Customer Service at 1-347-732-9400 to arrange for carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged merchandise. Please note that there is NO REFUND on any damaged merchandise but we would gladly have any damaged merchandise replaced with the same item or another item of your choice of equal or more value.
While every attempt is made to meet or exceed your requested delivery date, it is not a guaranteed delivery date. Items can deliver a bit later in some cases so please allow adequate time before your Wear Date. A requested delivery date can not be changed after the order is placed.
Please remember to submit the last date you can have your item arrive. Some items must be ordered and may take a couple of weeks or in some case up to 12 weeks for dresses. We are asking that you submit your REAL wear date so we know if we can get the item to you on time. We understand you will need time to make alterations. We will contact you if your ship date is close to your wear date.
Availability changes constantly, especially during the Pageant and First Communion season from January through May. Please note that because inventory changes so frequently during this season, we are not able to check availability by email. By the time we send you an email with the availability that dress might not be available to purchase. It is always advisable to call us since most of the time we are able to provide you immediately with availability over the phone. Please note if the dress or other item you are intending to purchase is available it is advisable to place your order either immediately as there is no guarantee that the item will still be available if placed at a later time.
Alteration On Dresses:
Almost every dress will at some point require alterations in order for you to get a perfect fit. Dresses are made to a standard measurement, based on the manufacturer’s size chart, and can then be altered to fit you. It is advisable to choose the largest size based on your measurement and the size chart. Dresses can more or less likely always be taken in to fit you, but letting dresses out is never as easy. When ordering your prom dress, please remember that alterations, especially a hem and taking up straps, are to be expected. Also, please note that all our dresses are in US sizes. If you are a customer ordering outside of the United States, then please note your sizes may run differently.
Blush Kids offers free ground shipping anywhere within the 48 contiguous United States. This applies to Orders over $29.99! Standard ground shipping takes 3 to 7 business days depending on your location. Dresses are shipped out as soon as possible. You have the choice of expediting your shipping if your wear date is close by selecting one of the expedited shipping options at checkout. Dresses that are special ordered from the manufacturer can take up to 12 weeks in some instances. The dress will be shipped to us, then we will ship it to you as per your shipping choice, or you may be contacted to expedite shipping if your wear date is close. You are responsible for any expedited shipping charges including any Drop Ship charges that may be incurred over what the estimated cost shows. International customers will pay shipping based on the current rate and are responsible for any additional taxes or duties. You will be notified of your ship date and and tracking number via email from us once your shipment has been shipped. If you order Friday after 3 or Saturday or Sunday, it will be Monday before we can process your order. We will notify you as soon as possible with availability and shipping information. Orders placed after 10 AM EST may not ship until the following business day.
Taxes, Duties, Tariffs And/Or Brokerage Fees:
Blush Kids.com can not be held responsible for any accrued additional charges such as taxes, duties, tariffs, or brokerage fees that may apply to international orders. To find out more about this, please contact your local government. All prices on our site are in shown in US Dollars.
Sizing & Color Disclaimer:
Size Charts are provided to assist you with selecting the best size. Remember that size charts are provided by the manufacturers and are the approximate measurements of their entire line and not necessarily the exact measurement of each style. Measurements will vary based on style and manufacturer. We will not be held liable if the style you order does not match the measurements on the size chart. Never order a size with measurements smaller than the person that's wearing the dress. You can always have a garment taken in or shortened but you usually cannot have it let out or lengthened. We will be happy to assist with the sizing and fitting process but will not select your size or guarantee fit because we are not in control of the accuracy of your measurements. Alterations may be necessary to perfect fit so please plan ahead and allow plenty of time.
Color may appear different on every monitor. We try to represent the colors shown the best way possible. However, color shown may not represent the same color of the garment. As in all garment manufacturing, colors will vary by dye lot.
While we strive for accuracy in our pricing of our products we do sometimes make errors. Known errors are likely to be posted on our website periodically. We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or information on the website or invoice.
We value our relationship with you and we respect your privacy. All information acquired during ordering is used solely for this purpose. Blush Kids does not share or sell this information to a third party.
We use state-of-the-art technology to encrypt your financial information before it is sent. The ordering area of our site is protected this way and is referred to as "secure." Secure transmission is not necessary for our product pictures or general site information and is not used there. This keeps our site faster and your shopping experience more enjoyable. And you never have to worry about sending us your credit card information.
Our Site is equipped with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which is the gold standard in Internet encryption. This highly sophisticated system scrambles your financial data as it travels from your computer to our Web site.

Check Your Order:
Please check your order immediately once received. If dress is damaged or if you encounter any problems, please contact us by email within 48 hours of receipt. Our manufacturers will not accept any damaged merchandise after 48 hrs. Please be sure to email us if there is problem. All merchandise returned to us will be marked refused unless otherwise noted. Under no circumstances would any merchandise be accepted if returned without an RA# assigned on the outside of the package. This is usually generated to the customer via email depending upon the reason for the return. PLEASE EMAIL US AT: email@example.com including your Order#, Date Merchandise was received and the issue. Until you get a response from us regarding any issues, returns please DO NOT ship back any merchandise without an RA# as it will be refused!
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE.
This Agreement; all relations between the parties (buyers/sellers); and, any all disputes between the parties, whether sounding in contract, tort, garments, damaged goods, defective goods, or otherwise, is to be exclusively construed in accordance with and/or governed by (as applicable) the law of New York without recourse to New York choice of law or conflicts of law principles. Nothing in this Section is intended to invoke the application of any similar law or regulation of the State of New York or any other state, which would not apply otherwise.
Any litigation arising out of or related to purchases to this Agreement; any breach of this agreement; the relations between the parties; and any and all disputes between the parties, whether sounding in contract, tort, or otherwise, will be instituted exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in Queens, New York. Parties agree that any dispute as to venue for this litigation will be submitted to and resolved exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction situated in Queens, New York.
Blush Kids reserves the right to cancel any order that contains inaccuracies or errors due to technical issues or user errors.
